3 Stains We Are Totally Ready To Deal With This Summer

Summer is just around the corner! The last thing you want to worry about while you are enjoying the summer in Little Rock is staining your favorite summer garments. Hangers Cleaners offers stain removal. Our team deals with tricky stains all day long. If you have a particular stain you are concerned about, let us know when you drop off your garment, or leave it out on your front porch to be picked up in Little Rock.

  • Before you begin any stain treatment, check the care label on the garment. Once you know what kind of materials your stained garment is made of you can more effectively plan your stain removal tactics.
  • For any stain, don’t put the garment in the dryer without thoroughly checking that the stain is gone. The heat from the dryer will only worsen the presence of the stain and make it more difficult to remove.

1. Sweat stains

Thankfully, the sweat we leave on our clothes after a long Arkansas summer washes off during our normal laundry routine. What if it doesn’t? Sweat stains are caused by a buildup of deodorant mixing with the salt from your sweat. That is why your perfect, white summer tee now has embarrassing yellow stains on the armpits.

The best way to get rid of sweat stains is to soak it in a solution of two parts white vinegar and one part water.

Watermelon is a delicious, healthy summer treat. It also tends to leave a stain on white garments. If you get a watermelon stain on your clothing, flush it with cool water. If possible, run cool water from the opposite of the fabric. Rub a stain remover or a small amount of liquid detergent into the stain before washing like normal.

3. Ketchup stains

Flush the garment with cool water as soon as possible. Like when you are dealing with a watermelon stains, it is best to run the cool water from the opposite side of the garment. Rub a stain remover or liquid detergent into the stain and let it soak in warm water for 30 minutes. Wash like normal. Repeat this process until the stain is gone.
